How to Display The WQA Logo

 

Organizations that have obtained ISO certification from WQA are entitled to use the certification logo. The certification logo indicates that the certified system, process, or service has been audited and meets the requirements of specific ISO standards.

This is a valuable marketing tool to promote the overall organization and service capabilities, and we encourage you to use it fully.

The logo’s validity period extends throughout the validity of the certificate issued to the organization by WQA.

The WQA logo and the Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) logo may not be used by organizations if the certificate status is suspended, withdraw, expired, or not renewed.

USE OF THE WQA LOGO

As a WQA registered firm, you can:

• Use the logo as designed by WQA
• Use the logo on:
  • Correspondence & Stationery (envelope, letterhead, etc.)
  • Name cards
  • Advertising and promotional materials (brochures, agendas, calendars, etc.)
  • Websites
• Use the logo on electronic media (e.g., the Internet) with safeguards against downloading
• It is permissible to use wording that indicates the registered firm status, clarifying that it applies to the management system and not the product.
• Use statements on product packaging or accompanying information indicating the organization has a certified management system. Product packaging refers to removable packaging not integral to the product. The statement shall in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified by this means. The statement shall include reference to:
  • identification (e.g. brand or name) of the certified client;
  • the type of management system (e.g. quality, environment) and the applicable standard;
  • the certification body issuing the certificate.

As a WQA registered firm, you cannot:

• Display the logo on a product or its packaging.
• In most cases, service companies can use the symbol on media seen by customers but not on the product itself (e.g., credit cards, Cheque Books).
• Use the logo on laboratory test, calibration, or inspection reports or certificates.

USE OF THE KOMITE AKREDITASI NASIONAL (KAN) LOGO

• Organizations audited by WQA according to ISO 37001:2016, in addition to using the WQA logo, are permitted to use the Komite Akreditasi Nasional (KAN) logo.
• Use of the KAN logo must accompany the WQA logo and include the WQA accreditation identification number (LSSMAP-020-IDN) for ISO 37001:2016.
• The KAN logo and WQA logo may not be used on products or their packaging, laboratory test, calibration, or inspection reports or certificates.
• Organizations without ISO 37001:2016 certification are not permitted to use the KAN logo.

     

• If a company applies ISO 37001:2016 along with other standards (multi-standard), the WQA logos for different standards must be separate or distinct from the WQA and KAN logos specifically for ISO 37001:2016.

• Use of the KAN logo, including size, colour, and typography, is governed by KAN U-03 Rev.2.
